CHAIRMAN AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Mr. Crowley is an American entrepreneur, with 27 years of experience in the planning and successful development of wireless and technology businesses. He has undertaken these activities in the United States, Latin America and Central Europe.

In connection with such activities, Mr. Crowley has arranged approximately $4.5 billion in financing. In emerging markets, Mr. Crowley has formed start-ups in Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, Uruguay, Poland and the Czech Republic. He has financed such start-ups through traditional private equity, equipment supplier and bank credits, strategic investments and government grants. Mr. Crowley's partners have included The Blackstone Group, AT&T Wireless, Lucent Technologies and the largest private telephone company in Brazil.

In 2004, Mr. Crowley formed Crowley Infrastructure Development Group, to act as a "Master Developer" in Poland's EU funded infrastructure redevelopment effort. CIDG has served as Chief Advisor to the architect of Warsaw, on the city's most important historical urban redevelopment project (Kings Road). CIDG is Poland's leading provider of airport redevelopment planning. Recent completed plans include the Krakow and Wroclaw airport. CIDG is also the exclusive Eastern Europe licensee for "Greencert" a state -of-the-art IBM based technology which quantifies and verifies Greenhouse gas emissions.

In 2000, Mr. Crowley formed Salmon PCS LLC, with Cingular Wireless(AT&T) to build and operate next generation mobile networks in metropolitan areas across the United States. Salmon successfully bid $2.3 billion for 79 wireless licenses. The FCC granted 45 of those licenses covering a population of 11.5 million in October 2001 in exchange for Salmon's payment of $241 million. After completing the successful build-out of those 45 markets, Crowley Digital Wireless sold its interest in Salmon to Cingular in October, 2006.

From 1987-1994, Mr. Crowley was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Crowley Cellular Telecommunications Inc. ("CCTI"). By 1991, "CCTI" had become the second largest privately held cellular telecommunications company in America. Mr. Crowley negotiated the sale of the Crowley Cellular networks to major telecommunications companies including SBC and AT&T Wireless.

In June 1999, Crowley Data Poland ("CDP") was granted a fifteen year nationwide concession from the Polish Government to offer broadband wireless data services. CDP has deployed a state-of-the-art local multi-point distribution service "LMDS" network in Poland. In May 2000, CDP and Crowley Wireless Broadband LLC reached an agreement with Blackstone Capital Partners III pursuant to which Blackstone became a minority investor in these companies. CDP is currently the largest and fastest growing wireless broadband company in Central Europe.

Mr. Crowley was a founding investor and director for ten years of Southern Starr Broadcasting Company, a publicly held owner of FM radio stations in the U.S. He was also a member of the Young Presidents Organization and the Board of Directors of the U.S. Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association. Mr. Crowley is an attorney with degrees from Georgetown University and Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. Mr. Crowley currently serves on the Georgetown University Board of Regents and the Board of the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, D.C.

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Mr. Fredrickson has been Chief Technology Officer of the Crowley Group for the past ten years. During this time he has also served as Chief Operating Officer and board member of Salmon PCS, a joint venture with Cingular Wireless to build and operate cellular networks in 45 markets in the US. Mr. Fredrickson also has overseen the design and deployment of the largest fixed wireless broadband network in Central Europe, Crowley Data Poland.

Mr. Fredrickson brings more than 30 years of leadership, management and technical expertise within the telecommunications and broadcast industries. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Fredrickson served as Chief Technology Officer for American Cellular Corporation where he was responsible for the design, implementation and operation of a 19-market cellular telephone network serving more than 450,000 subscribers. The network consisted of over 350 cell sites and eight major switching centers spread across nine different states. American Cellular was ultimately sold to Dobson Communications after the management team created over one billion dollars in value for the shareholders in less than two years.

Prior to American Cellular Mr. Fredrickson worked for Palmer Communications for 25 years. Starting out in the Broadcast Group in 1973, Mr. Fredrickson ultimately became Chief Engineer of the Broadcast Division in South Florida and also managed the Specialized Mobile Radio group with radio coverage from Venice to Marco Island, Florida with over 60 channels of SMR interconnected radio. Mr. Fredrickson also became Chief Engineer of the Palmer Cablevision group in South Florida responsible for the design and construction of a 350 mile cable television plant serving over 200,000 subscribers with local origination studios.

In 1985 Mr. Fredrickson moved over to the emerging Palmer Wireless division as the first employee. He ultimately became Chief Technology Officer of the 17-market wireless cluster in the Southeast serving over 250,000 subscribers. The network was comprised of five major switching centers and over 350 cell sites. Mr. Fredrickson was directly responsible for the design and construction of the entire network.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
BOARD MEMBER

Mario Wanderley is the Chief Financial Officer of The Crowley Group. In this capacity, he is responsible for all finance and strategy functions, including M&A, corporate development, capital raising and investor/bank relations.

 

Mr. Wanderley is an international corporate finance executive and entrepreneur with extensive deal-making experience in the U.S., Europe and Latin America. He has negotiated a broad range of transactions (total value in excess of $11.5 billion), including: mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint-ventures, private placements of debt and equity capital, balance sheet restructurings and principal investments. He has also co-founded and helped build Telecom and Technology businesses in the U.S. and overseas and managed business expansions and turnarounds, achieving significant revenue and profit growth.

 

Since joining Crowley in 1999, Mr. Wanderley has (i) structured (and later sold) a joint venture with AT&T Wireless to own, build and operate cellular networks in the U.S. (serving as CFO and board member of that business); (ii) secured debt and equity financing agreements with The Blackstone Group, Commerzbank AG, Allied Irish Banks, Lucent Technologies and AT&T; and (iii) co-founded Crowley's telecommunications business in Poland (CDP), having helped build it into Central Europe's largest fixed wireless broadband operator. Mr. Wanderley has also co-led the group's corporate development activities in several countries, having played a key role in the start-up, acquisition and management of numerous businesses.

 

Prior to joining Crowley, Mr. Wanderley was an investment banker with J.P. Morgan & Co. in New York and Sao Paulo, Brazil. As such, he participated in a number of cross-border transactions. Previously, Mr. Wanderley was General Manager for a division of Alubasa, a building materials manufacturer in Brazil. He was responsible for all aspects of the Anodizing business unit including operations, sales, marketing and finance.

 

Mr. Wanderley holds a Masters in Business Administration with a major in Finance from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration of the University of Virginia and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidade Salvador (Brazil).

Mr. Roszkowski is Chief Executive Officer of Crowley's operations in Poland (Crowley Data Poland and Crowley Infrastructure Development Group). Prior to joining Crowley in late 2000, Mr. Roszkowski spent 25 years with LOT Polish Airlines, where he most recently served as COO and Director of the Flight Operations Group responsible for a staff of 2,700 employees.

Mr. Wisniewski has served as the Technical Director of CDP since joining the company in 2000. In this capacity, he has been largely responsible for the planning, design and deployment of the CDP network.

MEMBER OF THE BOARD, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Has been with CDP since 2000. As a holder of M.Sc. degree in IT with experience in network administration, initially, he was in charge of technical sales support and,  next, of selling telecom services. Since 2004, he has served in the capacity of Director for Cooperation with Telecom Operators in charge of shaping business liaisons with telecommunication partners. Since 2009, as a COO, he has been responsible for network design, maintenance and development.  Since 1 November, 2010 he has served in the capacity of  CDP Member of the Board. As one of major creators of CDP position on the Integrators market, he has been very successful in developing Crowley Data Poland business ventures. He negotiated key agreements on cooperation. He  gained experience in the telecommunication and IT industry as a creator and administrator of an IT network for a large law firm and a unit of local administration where he built the IT infrastructure  from scratch. He has a considerable deal of experience in preparing statistical analyses using IT tools. He graduated from the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology at Warsaw University of Technology; he holds an MBA diploma from Kozminski University.  

He spends his fee time with his family. He is keen on traveling, sightseeing and skiing. He  is interested in photography and jazz.

Marcin Oblicki

MEMBER OF THE BOARD, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

From 1994 to 2000 Marcin Oblicki served in the capacity of Economic Director with  PPPL LOT. In the years  2000-2009 he worked in PLL LOT in the capacity of the Treasury Director and, then, of the Finance Department Director. He carried out large loan transactions as well as aircraft lease transactions. In 2008 he was a Member of the Board of Centralwings airlines. In 2009 he became the  Financial Director of CIDG, the Crowley Group subsidiary. Marcin Oblicki has a degree from the Social Studies Faculty at Warsaw University. He holds a ACCA diploma from the Post Graduate Studies on Finance Management and Accounting.

He is a fan of trekking and he participated in a couple of expeditions to the Himalayas  and Andes (Ama Dablam, Aconcagua).

SALES DIRECTOR

Since August, 2008 in charge of selling CDP services to telecommunication operators, developing an Open Digital Platform and building new sales channels. Since April 1st, 2011 - Sales Director in CDP.

 

Since 1998, has been involved in the telecommunications business; for 5 years managed the Key Account Department in Pilicka Telefonia, and, next, served in the capacity of the General Sales Manager in MNI Telecom. He is a graduate University of Łódź, a holder of the degree in Management.

 

Moreover, he completed the Digital Telecommunication post-graduate program at Świętokrzyski University of Technology. Last but not least, he holds a PhD degree from the faculty of Management at University of Łódź.

Barry Weinbaum

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Barry Weinbaum assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of Renaissance Lighting in February 2008. Mr. Weinbaum is a 28 year high-tech industry veteran with extensive experience in communications (enterprise and network), nanotechnology, components, consumer products, semi-conductors, software and wireless markets. He has melded extensive large and small corporate experiences with business and technical acumen and the spirit of a serial entrepreneur.

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Mr. Smith currently serves as Managing Director for Crowley Broadcast Analysis do Brasil, Ltda. Mr. Smith was responsible for the development of a state-of-the-art broadcast monitoring network that includes online voice recognition in 10 major Brazilian cities.
